As a member of the Practice Development team within Mid-West Mental Health Services, the post holder will be required to participate in the quality and practice development agendas for nursing. The role involves leading, supporting, and driving a culture of innovation, quality, and clinical effectiveness to promote the continuous improvement of quality person-centered care. The Clinical Nurse Manager III (CNM 3) will be responsible for facilitating change and learning to support staff in driving a culture of innovation, quality, education, and clinical effectiveness. This includes implementing the value statements of the Nursing Vision for Mental Health Nursing Services, extending and expanding clinical supervision, and implementing, monitoring, and evaluating Restriction Reduction Strategies. The CNM 3 will demonstrate progress using key performance indicators and implement quality/practice development initiatives as directed by the Practice Development Coordinator. The role also includes deputizing for the Practice Development Coordinator and representing the Practice Development Unit as requested. The CNM 3 will be involved in the continuous development of quality healthcare delivery at the relevant service and may serve on various committees as directed by the Area Director of Nursing.
