About The Position

The Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) is part of TriState Health’s Nurse Educator team and supports the onboarding and orientation of new staff, training and continuing education, updates to policies and procedures, and collaboration with hospital leadership on strategic organizational goals. The role evaluates evidence supporting clinical practice, implements changes that promote safe patient care, ensures staff competency, and prioritizes organizational education needs. In addition to general Clinical Educator duties, this position oversees and teaches critical care and other specialty components of the education program.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current Washington State RN license.
Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR.
At least 3 years of current nursing experience in an acute care Med/Surg setting.
Personal attributes including ownership of actions, organization, open-mindedness, effective communication, and adaptability.
Strong basic nursing skills and the ability to coach and guide staff.
Experience with electronic medical record documentation, Word, and Excel.
Availability to work flexible hours to accommodate staff.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree or higher.
