Seasonal Clinical Nurse - Critical Care
About The Position
InterHealth Staffing, a staffing division of TGH, is offering 13-week seasonal assignments for Critical Care Nurses. These positions provide competitive pay, potential for contract extensions, and an opportunity to experience the culture of Tampa General Hospital (TGH), a leading academic medical center and safety net hospital. TGH is recognized for nursing excellence, holding Magnet designation for the fourth consecutive time, and is accredited by The Joint Commission and CARF. As a seasonal nurse, you will deliver nursing care to patients across the lifespan, plan and implement nursing care, document assessments, and ensure patient rights are upheld. This role involves providing professional nursing care within the assigned clinical division and adhering to the mission, vision, and values of TGH.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida
- BSN required
- BLS/ ACLS with American Heart Association required
- Minimum of 2 years in relevant Critical Care required
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience within the specific division being hired into and deemed competent to work independently.

Responsibilities
- Delivers nursing care to patients throughout the life span, neonatal through geriatric.
- Plans and implements nursing care.
- Documents nursing assessments.
- Identifies and reports situations requiring further intervention.
- Formulates and communicates a goal-directed plan of care.
- Assures patient rights.
- Provides professional nursing care to patients in all areas covered by the Specialty Staffing Team within the assigned clinical division.
- Performs job duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.
