About The Position

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) delivers high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all functions in the Progressive Care Unit. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies, serves as a resource for staff, and supports an exceptional patient experience. The role includes coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team, assisting with admission and discharge processes, supporting improved outcomes and service, coaching and training staff, and assisting with staff scheduling.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) qualification; an associate degree, bachelor's degree, or registered nurse diploma is accepted.
• At least 1 year of experience.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in partnership with a multidisciplinary team.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes.
• Partner with subject matter experts and the leadership team to support improved outcomes and service.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve staff performance and engagement.
• Assist with staff scheduling.
• Monitor and evaluate nursing care in accordance with established policies.
• Serve as a resource for staff and support an exceptional patient experience.
