About The Position

The Clinical Coordinator – Emergency Department-Night position at Swedish Hospital is a full-time role requiring 36 hours per week, with hours scheduled for the night shift (7pm-7:30am) including rotating weekends. This role positively contributes to safety outcomes and promotes a high-quality patient experience by managing day-to-day clinical operations and unit workflow/throughput. The coordinator may assume direct patient care if necessary and is accountable for the outcomes of care for patients in a specific clinical care area(s). Additionally, the role involves guiding and directing a team of caregivers in providing high-quality, individualized care, teaching, mentoring, and counseling staff for development, and taking the lead on clinical performance management.

Requirements

Current professional Nursing Licensure in the state of IL required.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in appropriate clinical setting required
BLS/CPR certification required

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree preferred
Prior management experience preferred

Responsibilities
