About The Position

PAX Health is a leading mental and behavioral health organization dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to individuals facing mental health challenges. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Neuropsychologist to join our multidisciplinary team in Jessup, Maryland. This is a hybrid position focused on conducting comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological evaluations for adults presenting with cognitive, psychological, and neurological concerns, including traumatic brain injury (TBI), concussion, and other neurocognitive conditions. The ideal candidate will be comfortable performing both psychological and neuropsychological assessments, interpreting complex testing data, preparing comprehensive reports, and collaborating with interdisciplinary providers to support diagnostic clarity and treatment planning. PSYPACT certification is strongly preferred.

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology, Neuropsychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Active Maryland psychologist license required.
  • Experience with forensic, disability, workers' compensation, personal injury, or independent medical evaluation populations.
  • Experience conducting assessments involving symptom validity and performance validity testing.
  • Formal training and experience in neuropsychological assessment.
  • Strong proficiency in administering, scoring, and interpreting psychological and neuropsychological measures.
  • Excellent report-writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to ethical practice, patient-centered care, and maintaining confidentiality.

Nice To Haves

  • PSYPACT credential preferred.
  • Experience evaluating individuals with traumatic brain injury, concussion, neurological disorders, and cognitive impairment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological evaluations.
  • Administer, score, interpret, and integrate psychological and neuropsychological test results.
  • Prepare clear, concise, and defensible evaluation reports with diagnostic impressions and recommendations.
  • Assess cognitive functioning, emotional functioning, symptom validity, effort, and psychological adjustment.
  • Collaborate with physicians, psychologists, rehabilitation professionals, case managers, and other members of the treatment team.
  • Provide diagnostic clarification and treatment recommendations based on evaluation findings.
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with professional, legal, and organizational standards.
  • Stay current with evidence-based assessment practices and neuropsychological research.
