About The Position

This posting represents current and future opportunities across several specialized neurodiagnostic areas: Electromyography (EMG), Outpatient Electroencephalography (EEG), Multi-Modality Neurodiagnostics (EEG, Evoked Potentials, Autonomic Testing, and Nerve Conduction Studies). Our technologists work alongside nationally recognized neurologists and neuroscientists, using advanced technology and innovative diagnostic techniques to evaluate complex neurological conditions. Mayo Clinic is actively hiring Neurodiagnostic Technologists at the Tech I, II, and III levels, offering a clear and supported pathway for advancement as your skills, experience, and certifications grow. You will have access to defined career progression, continuing education, mentorship, specialty certification support, and exposure to some of the most complex cases in healthcare. Requirements
- Tech I: High school diploma or GED required. Graduate of an accredited neurodiagnostic technology program or two years of relevant neurodiagnostic technology experience required. Associate’s degree preferred. Required certification through ABRET, ABEM, and/or AAET must be obtained within two years of employment in the laboratory of hire. Current Basic Life Support certification required.
- Tech II: High school diploma or GED and three years of neurodiagnostic technology experience required. Associate’s degree preferred. Must be a current Registered Neurodiagnostic Technologist with certification through ABRET, ABEM, and/or AAET. Current Basic Life Support certification required.
- Tech III: High school diploma or GED and five years of relevant neurodiagnostic technology experience required. Associate’s degree or higher preferred. Must be a current Registered Neurodiagnostic Technologist and hold two qualifying registries. Current Basic Life Support certification required.
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s degree preferred for Tech I.
- Associate’s degree preferred for Tech II.
- Associate’s degree or higher preferred for Tech III.
