About The Position

The Clinical Navigator, Family Care Unit (FCU) is responsible for assisting providers in caring for mothers with Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) through antenatal clinical/family support, postnatal maternal care, neonatal care, and post-hospital maternal and neonatal care. The incumbent is also responsible for participant recruitment, research protocol administration, reliability, and data collection for research grants for the Family Care Unit. Performs other job-related duties as requested.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Three to five years' experience in research related field.
• Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet programs, and experience with statistics highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluent in the English language.

• Experience with children and families preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides antenatal clinical navigation and family support.
• Provides neonatal care navigation and support.
• Provides post hospital maternal and neonatal care navigation and support.
• Coordinates the daily operations of research activities for Family Care Unit research grants.
• Oversees the conduct and scope of study.
• Coordinate and implements study needs.
• Data collection and management.
• Preserves and protects patient rights to confidentiality.
• Performs other duties as requested.
