About The Position

Circle of Life Behavioral Solutions LLC is seeking a licensed and compassionate Clinical Mental Health Assessor to provide community-based behavioral health assessment services. This is a contracted position responsible for conducting intake assessments, biopsychosocial evaluations, treatment planning, and required screenings for children, adolescents, and families. The Assessor works collaboratively with the clinical team to identify client needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and connect clients to appropriate services. Services are provided in a variety of settings, including the office, home, school, and other community locations, based on client needs. Assessments can be completed via telehealth or in person.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
  • Registered Associate or fully licensed clinician preferred (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, Psychologist). Must have an active Texas Licensure or be fully licensed
  • Experience conducting mental health assessments, biopsychosocial evaluations, and treatment planning at least 2 years.
  • Strong clinical documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Strong knowledge of motivational interviewing, and crisis intervention.
  • Comfortable with technology (Zoom, Electronic Medical Records, Google Workspace, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Complete intake paperwork, biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans, and all required screenings in accordance with agency, Medicaid, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments and gather relevant clinical, family, educational, medical, and social history.
  • Develop, review, and update individualized treatment plans adhering to DSM-5 and other relevant diagnostic criteria.
  • Participate as an active member of the clinical team through case staffing, treatment planning, and coordination of care.
  • Provide services in community-based settings, including the office, client homes, schools, and other approved locations.
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation.
  • Attend and actively participate in all required supervision sessions, clinical meetings, staff meetings, and trainings.
  • Communicate all clinical, ethical, safety, compliance, and operational concerns to the direct supervisor in a timely manner.
  • Seek supervision and consultation when needed to ensure quality client care and adherence to agency standards.
  • Maintain professional relationships with clients, families, school personnel, referral sources, and community partners.
