Clinical Manager - Intermediate Care Unit
About The Position
Clinical Manager of Piedmont Athens Regional Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Full Time Days. Responsible for administrative and operational oversight of assigned departments, including cost and finance management, human resources, operations, quality of care and clinical outcomes, patient/physician and staff satisfaction, and change management. Serves as a member of the entity management team and Shared Governance Model, promoting the mission, vision, and values of PHC and Nursing Professional Practice. Embraces a person-centered philosophy, promoting patient-family centered services and enhancing value-driven outcomes. Responsible for succession planning, talent identification, and providing support, education, and resources for future nursing leaders. May assist in staffing to provide clinical care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
Requirements
- Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing
- 3 years of nursing experience in a hospital (inpatient roles) or clinical (outpatient roles) setting
- At least one (1) year of relevant leadership experience
- Demonstrated clinical competency in the specialty area applying for
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Upon Hire
- BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire
