About The Position

Clinical Manager of Piedmont Athens Regional Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Full Time Days. This role has administrative and operational responsibility for assigned departments, including management of cost and finance, human resources, operations, quality of care and clinical outcomes, patient/physician and staff satisfaction, and change management. The Clinical Manager serves as part of the entity management team and Shared Governance Model, promoting the mission, vision, and values of PHC and Nursing Professional Practice. This position embraces a person-centered philosophy, promotes patient-family centered services, and enhances value-driven outcomes. Responsibilities include succession planning, identifying talent, and providing support, education, and resources to grow future nursing leaders. The role may require assisting in staffing to provide clinical care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Requirements

  • Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing
  • 3 years of nursing experience in a hospital (inpatient roles) or clinical (outpatient roles) setting
  • At least one (1) year of relevant leadership experience
  • Demonstrated clinical competency in the specialty area applying for
  • RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Upon Hire
  • BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire
