About The Position

The Clinical Manager for Social Work assists the Director in providing leadership and management of clinical social work services, care coordination, psychosocial support, and other related patient/family support functions at SCH sites. The Clinical Manager assists the Director with responsibility for the systems, processes, and outcomes of clinical care teams and programs designed to address clinical, psychosocial, and financial needs of patients and families. The scope of responsibility includes goal setting, program planning, workflow processes, staff productivity, continuous process improvement, and regulatory compliance. Additional responsibilities include providing clinical care to patients. Where indicated, serves as the department representative to internal and external customers including patients and families, physicians, administration, and Focused Program Leadership. This role will require travel to our regional sites to include our South Clinic in Federal Way, North Clinic in Everett, and Bellevue Clinic once a month.

Requirements

  • Master's in Social Work (MSW).
  • 5 years of clinical experience and demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Current Washington State Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).

Nice To Haves

  • Over 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • 5 years of hospital medical experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assists the Director with responsibility for the systems, processes, and outcomes of clinical care teams and programs designed to address clinical, psychosocial, and financial needs of patients and families.
  • Goal setting, program planning, workflow processes, staff productivity, continuous process improvement, and regulatory compliance.
  • Providing clinical care to patients.
  • Serves as the department representative to internal and external customers including patients and families, physicians, administration, and Focused Program Leadership.
  • Travel to regional sites (South Clinic in Federal Way, North Clinic in Everett, and Bellevue Clinic) once a month.
  • Provide on-call coverage roughly 1 out of every 6 weeks.
