OhioGuidestone has served communities for 160+ years and is expanding Mobile Response & Stabilization Services across Ohio. This role involves assisting staff in problem-solving, contributing to solutions, and providing support without judgment. The intern will promote and maintain a safe environment for clients, staff, and self, and actively strive for improvement in personal and team performance, supporting the organization’s mission. They will follow through on assigned tasks and ensure issues are addressed or escalated appropriately, using organizational resources responsibly and maintaining integrity and accountability. The intern will develop therapeutic relationships with clients and provide individual, group, or family therapy as needed, and be available for clinical consultation. They will maintain regular communication with assigned professionals, parents, and outside agencies, providing minor case management and support services as needed. The intern will advocate for clients, making recommendations for clinical and support services, including during discharge planning. They will participate actively in treatment conferences, team meetings, and other relevant clinical discussions, and complete all required documentation and paperwork accurately and within designated timelines. The intern will also attend agency and community meetings as needed to support professional development and client services, demonstrate positive leadership, promote a team-based work environment and a culture of belonging, and exhibit positivity, flexibility and a willingness to take on new responsibilities as requested or required. They will present the Agency in the most positive light with all internal and external contacts.
