About The Position

The Clinical Manager of Behavioral Health will lead and support behavioral health clinicians to ensure compassionate, high-quality, and accessible care that improves the well-being of the communities served. Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Graduate of a master level accredited social work or clinical counselor program.
  • Ohio LISW or LPCC state license.
  • Experience as a counselor, preferably in the community clinic setting.

  • Supervisory experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the behavioral health department, ensuring that all staff members are effectively carrying out their roles and responsibilities.
  • Supervise and support clinicians, therapists, and support staff.
  • Provide clinical supervision and support to the behavioral health staff, including therapists, counselors, and community psychiatric supportive treatment staff.
  • Review and when appropriate sign-off on client visit notes.
  • Conduct behavioral health diagnostic assessments: thorough assessments of clients' social, emotional, and environmental factors that may impact their overall health and well-being to evaluate clients' mental health and/or substance use concerns, identify their needs, and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Ensure the provision of crisis services, covering crisis services as needed including crisis assessments, Law Enforcement Ally Program, Youth Crisis Response Team, Local Emergency Planning Committee, among others.
  • Develop comprehensive treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Participate in 24/7 call coverage equitably with the Director of Behavioral Health and the Chief of Behavioral Health where needed.
  • Ensure that the behavioral health department complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines.
