About The Position

Emplify Health by Gundersen Health System is hiring for a Clinical Manager to lead the Obesity Medicine, Bariatric Surgery & Allergy teams. This role provides operational leadership, support, and oversight to 24 direct reports, and manages financials and strategic priorities. The Clinical Manager is responsible for managing employee performance, serving as a resource to staff and other departments, and collaborating with the Clinical Operations Director and Department Chair to achieve department goals within budget. The position is a 1.0 FTE (80 hours bi-weekly) with a Monday-Friday, core business hours shift, located in Onalaska, WI.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Dietetics or other related healthcare field.
5 years of experience in a healthcare setting which may include weight management or surgical experience demonstrating leadership skills.
Registered Nurse (RN) licensed minimally in the state of practice, some positions may require additional state RN licenses OR Registered as a Dietitian with Commission on Dietetic Registration (RD) and Registered Dietitian State Certification or Licensure (CD) in the state(s) of practice.

Responsibilities

Provide operational leadership, support, and oversight to 24 direct reports.
Oversee the financials as well as strategic priorities.
Manage employee performance to ensure optimal functioning in day-to-day operations.
Serve as a resource to staff and other departments.
Work collaboratively with the Clinical Operations Director and Department Chair to achieve department goals in a timely manner and within budget parameters.
