Clinical Manager, Hospice

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in MO
- Hospice experience is a must
- Strong clinical judgment and understanding of hospice care delivery
- High level of comfort with technology, including EMR systems (HCHB) and Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and listen thoughtfully before reacting
- Strong critical thinking, prioritization, and multitasking skills
Nice To Haves
- Prior clinical manager experience
- Prior hospice leadership experience
- Field hospice experience combined with leadership exposure
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the clinical management of hospice field staff
- Provide day-to-day clinical guidance, oversight, and problem solving
- Help ensure safe, appropriate, and timely patient care delivery
- Oversee clinical documentation, case conference activity, recertification planning, and care coordination workflows
- Review clinical needs, utilization, patient progression, and discharge planning in partnership with the care team
- Support a high-acuity hospice environment with strong hospital referral activity, short lengths of stay, and General Inpatient care volume
- Collaborate closely with office leadership and interdisciplinary partners to support quality outcomes and operational priorities
- Participate in administrative on-call for seven consecutive days approximately every fifth week with additional pay
- Travel within the service area as needed for field support and visits
