Ontario Shores is seeking a Clinical Manager for the Assessment and Reintegration Program (ARP), Complex Services, reporting to the Administrative Director, ARP. The Assessment and Reintegration Program, including Complex Services, is comprised of four inpatient units (offering a total of 106 inpatient beds, including 15 psychiatric intensive care beds), and Complex Services which consists of the outpatient areas that include the Assertive Community Treatment Teams (Durham and Peterborough), the Psychosis Recovery Program (with clinics in Lindsay, Newmarket, Peterborough and Durham), and the Community Treatment Order resource for the organization, as well as the ReACT transitional service which bridges the inpatient and outpatient services. Our programs provide a safe and recovery-focused environment in which patients, family, staff and community organizations work together to provide care and treatment. The Complex Services provide a range of services that include assessments, consultations, behavioral support, shared care, group opportunities and follow up that can be provided in a traditional office-based setting, in the community or via Telemedicine based on the unique needs of each individual. Reporting to the Administrative Director, ARP, the successful candidate will function as a member of the ARP leadership team. The Clinical Manager will be responsible for: developing and evaluating services; providing leadership and coordinating the interdisciplinary team; managing human resources, including recruitment, career development, and performance management; providing leadership in team planning, development, implementation, and evaluation; assume a lead role in quality improvement initiatives in alignment with the strategic directions of the Centre. You will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. You will have financial responsibility for developing and monitoring the budget. You will be responsible for the identification and development of educational requirements and for providing clinical supervision of members of the clinical team, in collaboration with Professional Practice Leaders. In the role of Clinical Manager, you will provide exemplary clinical leadership to a multi-disciplinary team, apply your well-honed management skills in a unionized setting, support consultation to internal/external stakeholders on all aspects of services, and continuously ensure that the focus of our services remains achieving excellence in all aspects of our service delivery including quality, strategy and operational efficiency. You must be able to work in a collaborative, open and client-centered approach with patients, families, Community stakeholders and staff of multiple disciplines alike.
