About The Position
Vancouver Clinic is hiring an MA Educator to join our Clinical Training Programs team. In this role, you’ll develop and deliver curriculum, teach advanced clinical skills within the Washington Medical Assistant-Certified scope of practice, and coach staff toward successful program completion. The ideal candidate is an organized, engaging communicator who is passionate about learning, skilled in adult education, and comfortable collaborating across teams and clinic locations to strengthen Medical Assistant competency and patient care.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current active Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified credential required
- Minimum two years of experience as a Medical Assistant-Certified, preferably in an outpatient primary care setting
- Previous teaching, training, facilitation, or instructional experience in a healthcare setting required within the last 2 years
- Ability to work, with or without reasonable accommodation, with a diverse population of patients and colleagues seeking or considering care in all areas
Nice To Haves
- Associate's degree preferred
- Experience with Epic preferred
- Experience with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred
- Experience developing curriculum and delivering training in a healthcare setting preferred
