About The Position

The Clinical Liaison (CL) at Northeast Georgia Rehabilitation Hospital is a full-time role responsible for educating the community on acute rehabilitation services to develop census through face-to-face contacts. This role involves developing business based on the strategic goals of the rehabilitation program, building relationships with referral sources within the territory, identifying and resolving barriers to the admission process, and conducting in-person in-services and presentations. The position requires significant onsite and in-territory work, involving direct contact with patients, families, and referral sources.

Requirements

• A 2-year degree minimum.
• A graduate holding a four-year degree from a college program with a bachelor’s degree in a health related, business or marketing area of concentration, nursing preferred.
• Applicable and current license to practice Nursing, Therapy or Respiratory Therapy in accordance with the state licensure act.
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable transportation required.
• A track record of successful experience in a health care setting.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with physicians, nursing management, discharge planners, case managers, and social workers.

Nice To Haves

• Previous clinical liaison/marketing/sales experience preferred.
• Clinical experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Educate the community on acute rehabilitation to develop a census through face-to-face contacts.
• Develop business based on the strategic goals of the rehabilitation program.
• Build relationships with referral sources within the territory through face-to-face connections to increase census.
• Identify barriers to the admission process and create solutions with the assistance of the program director.
• Complete in-person in-services and presentations to educate on acute rehabilitation programs and services.
• Other duties as assigned.
