About The Position

The Clinical Liaison coordinates between internal and external referral sources and acute inpatient rehabilitation operations. The role establishes relationships with case coordinators, physicians, payors, and other referral sources. It ensures appropriate patient placement through clinical screenings and assessments in collaboration with hospital Case Coordination and the Inpatient Rehabilitation Medical Director. The Clinical Liaison works closely with hospital Case Coordinators and the acute inpatient rehabilitation admissions team to support a responsive, smooth referral and admission process. Florida Rehabilitation Hospital at Tampa, located at Woodstork and Temple Terrace, is opening in February 2025. The new hospital will have 60 private patient rooms and two rehabilitation therapy gyms with cutting-edge technology. Pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.

Requirements

Current clinical license.
Valid driver’s license.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Detail-oriented and able to meet strict time frames.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
