About The Position

The Clinical Leader is a collaborative leader of the care team who coordinates and facilitates the optimal provision of care through daily management of unit operations, following American Nurses Association (ANA) Standards of Practice and Professional Performance. The Clinical Leader practices in accordance with standards established or endorsed by Trinity Health leadership, external regulators, and accreditation agencies. The role promotes the Trinity Health Model of Care and nursing profession in support of the Trinity Health Quality Plan for Nursing, drives nursing practice through shared governance, and abides by the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses.

This position is with Trinity Health Livonia, a 304-bed acute care hospital in Livonia, Michigan, providing a range of services including emergency care, medicine, surgery, rehabilitation, intensive care, cancer care, cardiology, geriatrics, and birthing and women's health services.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active license to practice nursing in the State of Michigan.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for inpatient bedside care areas and inpatient and outpatient surgical services, required within 45 days of hire or transfer.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Certification by a nationally recognized nursing organization preferred.
• Membership in a professional nursing organization preferred.
