About The Position

The Clinical Leader is a collaborative leader of the care team, responsible for coordinating and facilitating optimal care through daily management of unit operations in accordance with American Nurses Association (ANA) Standards of Practice and Professional Performance. The role is also accountable for following standards established or endorsed by Trinity Health leadership and external regulators and accreditation agencies. The Clinical Leader promotes the Trinity Health Model of Care and the nursing profession in fulfillment of the Trinity Health Quality Plan for Nursing, drives nursing practice through shared governance, and abides by the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses.

This role is with Trinity Health Livonia, a 304-bed acute care hospital in Livonia, Michigan, providing a range of inpatient and outpatient services.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active license to practice nursing in the State of Michigan.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 45 days from date of hire or transfer for inpatient bedside care areas and inpatient and outpatient surgical services.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Certification by a nationally recognized nursing organization preferred.
• Membership in a professional nursing organization preferred.
