Requirements

  • Broad knowledge of various patient scheduling modalities.
  • Subject matter expert in at least three areas beyond medical oncology scheduling (surgery, IR, SCTU, GI, urology, radiation, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Serves as a subject matter expert for various patient scheduling modalities.
  • Performs scheduling duties.
  • Partners with department leadership to effectively oversee day-to-day operations.
  • Assists with implementing Standard Work Instructions (SWIs).
  • Assists with implementing Stakeholder competencies.
  • Assists with training.
  • Assists with staffing.
  • Assists with process improvements.
  • Assists with issue resolution.
  • Maintains department productivity metrics.
