The scientist will perform complex tests, understand the theory behind them, recognize deviations from the norm, and calibrate/maintain equipment. Verifying test results, reviewing reports for errors, and communicating effectively with medical staff are key duties. Additionally, the role involves assisting with supply inventory, prioritizing work, adapting to staffing changes, and contributing to quality control standards and problem-solving.
