About The Position
Performs a variety of routine and specialized diagnostic medical laboratory tests requested by healthcare staff, following established protocols and procedures. Prepares specimens for microscopic examination or testing, operates automated laboratory instrumentation and equipment, performs quality control and assurance procedures, and records laboratory results in the specified system. Follows required privacy, safety, and biohazard procedures and standards.
Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent.
- 0–6 months of work experience.
- State licensure and/or professional certification requirements depend on the position.
