About The Position

The Market Lab Supervisor (Clinical) oversees the daily operations of the primary and family care practice laboratories under the direction of the Lab Director and Technical Consultant. The position is based at an Aylo Health clinic in Kennesaw or Woodstock, Georgia, and requires occasional travel between north Atlanta primary care clinics. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent education.
Current Basic Life Support card from the American Heart Association before the hire date.
At least 2 years of work experience in a clinical practice setting or laboratory.
Demonstrated ability to organize, coordinate, prioritize, and facilitate multiple ongoing tasks.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Professional appearance.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science degree.
Completion of an accredited Medical Lab Tech program (MLT, MT, or MLS).
At least 2 years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

Organize and direct the daily activities of the laboratory.
Perform daily maintenance and quality control procedures.
Perform phlebotomy and routine laboratory tests.
Operate diagnostic equipment to administer routine tests.
Investigate and follow up on issues, problems, and complaints raised by laboratory staff, management, and clinical staff.
Complete monitoring, record keeping, and reporting for all waived testing.
Ensure laboratory procedures are followed and testing is performed in compliance with applicable standards.
Manage human resources, including recruiting, disciplining, orienting, and training new staff members.
Evaluate staff performance under the direction of the Lab Director.
Schedule and assign staff as needed.
Inventory and stock supplies and reagents.
Adhere to standards of care, the Code of Conduct, and HIPAA compliance.
Float to all locations as necessary.
Assist with other duties as assigned.
