About The Position

The Clinical Supervisor provides direct patient care and supervises the nursing operations of a unit, working with a unit-specific patient population. In the absence of the Manager or Director, the supervisor may assume 24-hour nursing responsibility.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with one year of nursing experience in the area of specialty.
• Associate degree with three years of clinical experience, or a bachelor's degree in nursing with two years of clinical experience.
• Demonstrated ability to set priorities and make appropriate clinical and supervisory decisions.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• Certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

Nice To Haves

• Other certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or NRP may be required based on department needs.
