About The Position

Casa Counseling/Consejeria’s Clinical Internship Program is committed to providing training in evidence-based practices. Our goal is to provide interns with the theoretical and experiential base that will become their foundation for future professional work in mental health and social services. Clinical Interns will be integrated into our interdisciplinary clinical team while enriching each other’s experience through an interchange of ideas and perspectives while working collaboratively. Casa Counseling/Consejeria provides training each month to further our clinical staff’s breadth of knowledge and enrichment, ultimately allowing them to better serve their client’s needs. Training includes in-house presentations on intervention strategies, best practices, and more. Outside presentations include training from local law enforcement, attorneys, and community partners. Mental Health Community Clinic- Casa Counseling/Consejeria, a division of Casa de la Familia, has a low-cost therapy program that gives many the opportunity to receive counseling services according to their family income.
