About The Position
NYU College of Dentistry is seeking a full-time Clinical Instructor to join its modern dental facility in Downtown Brooklyn. The role combines high-quality clinical instruction with direct patient care and mentoring dental students in a supportive, hands-on learning environment. The successful candidate will contribute to curriculum development and student assessment, and join a team committed to clinical excellence and educational innovation. Academic rank will be commensurate with experience. The annual base salary range is $100,000–$150,000. Requirements
- D.D.S. or D.M.D. degree from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure in New York State.
- Prior experience in general dentistry practice.
- Demonstrated clinical proficiency in operative dentistry, endodontics, fixed and removable prosthodontics, and periodontics.
- Sensitivity to the needs of, and interest in working in, a broad academic community with different viewpoints and backgrounds.
Nice To Haves
- Prior academic or clinical teaching experience.
- Additional proficiency in oral surgery and esthetic dentistry.
- Familiarity with digital dentistry tools such as CAD/CAM systems and intraoral scanners.
Responsibilities
- Supervise students in clinical settings.
- Provide comprehensive general dental care and direct patient care.
- Mentor dental students in a supportive, hands-on learning environment.
