About The Position
Develops, implements, and evaluates programs or educational content for nursing and non-nursing hospital staff. Duties include designing educational programs, assessing staff proficiency in the subject area, developing curricula, and instructing.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school
- Two (2) years of clinical nursing experience
- Valid license from the State of Nevada to Practice as a Registered Nurse
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree
- Previous experience in Clinical Education in an acute care or large hospital setting
- Three (3) years of recent Surgical Services and / or Operating Room experience
- One to Two (1-2) years recent educator experience
- Certification as a Basic Life Support Instructor or Instructor Certification in Specialty
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
