About The Position
Abby Care is seeking a passionate and empathetic nursing professional to join their team as a Clinical Instructor. This is a Part-Time opportunity based in Indianapolis, IN. The role involves preparing students to become Home Health Aides (HHAs) by equipping them with the necessary skills and tools to provide quality care. Abby Care is building the leading AI-native platform for family-led care, aiming to address the growing care crisis by supporting family caregivers with technology, training, and recognition. Their mission is to train and employ family caregivers so they can get paid for the care they provide at home, utilizing a tech-powered, family-first care platform to improve health outcomes and provide a nationwide experience. The company partners with leading insurance plans, healthcare providers, and community organizations and is supported by mission-driven VCs.
Requirements
- A valid and current nursing (RN) license in the state of Indiana
- At least 1+ years of home health experience
- Must currently reside in the North Side of Indianapolis
- Valid Driver's License in the state of Indiana
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Availability to work some weekends
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred
Responsibilities
- Create and implement skill training classes, designing the structure for HHA clinical sessions and implementing the plan with students after their online training.
- Collaborate with and support HHA students as they complete the in-person component of their training in long-term care facilities.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to develop and implement additional modules aimed at enhancing students' skills and medical knowledge.
