The Clinical Instructor provides laboratory and clinical instruction for dental hygiene students in an on campus clinical facility, and may include off-campus fieldwork sites. This is a full-time, 0.8, 9-month faculty position with primary responsibility for laboratory and clinical teaching, and limited expectation for scholarly contributions or university service. The teaching load for this position includes approximately 2528 hours of laboratory and clinical teaching per week for both the fall and spring semesters with the expectation to teach in one evening clinic per week. Clinical teaching may include off-campus fieldwork sites. Remaining time each week will be spent on clinical support activities. Weekly work schedule will be established each semester based on laboratory and clinical schedule and may include evening hours.
