The Clinical Instructor/Clinical Assistant Professor position within the School of Nursing may teach courses in the classroom, clinical (hospital and long term care), community settings, health assessment clinical, and/or clinical laboratory for the School of Nursing at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and/or University of Wisconsin-Parkside (Racine/Kenosha) and may include locations in classroom (in-person or virtual), clinical and community settings in southeastern WI. Opportunities exist for instructors across multiple clinical programs, including undergraduate, direct-entry master’s and Doctor of nursing practice. The University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee College of Health Professions & Sciences offers a wide array of health-related academic programs in biomedical sciences, global health, health care administration, nursing, the rehabilitation sciences, and sustainable peacebuilding serving 2300+ students. The faculty and staff in these areas are training our graduates for high-demand careers. Many of our degree programs are nationally recognized and ranked and have achieved the highest accreditation possible. The academic quality of our programs is excellent, and through our outreach and e-Learning programs, we have extended access to our educational resources to distant locations. UWM School of Nursing offers a Bachelor of Science (BS), Master of Nursing (MN), Master of Sustainable Peacebuilding (MSP), Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree programs. UW-Milwaukee offers the BS in Nursing at UWM and UW-Parkside through a consortial partnership. Students are placed in clinical sites throughout Southeastern Wisconsin in proximity to each campus location.
