About The Position

Central Regional Hospital (CRH) is currently recruiting for a Nurse Consultant II to function as a Clinical Informatics Specialist. The primary purpose of this position is to support the clinical informatics program by ensuring the effective use of the electronic health record and related clinical information systems. This role provides expertise in clinical workflows, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to enhance system functionality, and promotes safe, efficient, and compliant documentation practices.

Requirements

Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina.
Two years of clinical experience in the area of specialization.

Nice To Haves

Working knowledge of clinical informatics, clinical workflows, EHR functionality, documentation standards, and relevant privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.
Proficient in EHR use, workflow assessment, end-user training, and issue identification.
Strong communication, collaboration, and basic project-coordination skills.
