About The Position

The Clinical Informatics Specialist integrates nursing science, computer science and information science to manage and process clinical data, information and knowledge to facilitate the delivery of health care. The Clinical Informatics Specialist role will be primarily focused on clinical informatics projects and Epic optimizations, following a consistent methodology of workflow analysis and validation while ensuring nursing practice standards, regulations, privacy and policy are considered. This role will serve as a liaison for clinical staff across various patient care departments while working collaboratively with department managers and technical experts.

Requirements

• Located near the Kansas City area as in person duties are required.
• Active MO nursing license is required.
• Bachelors degree.
• 3-5 years of experience in Clinical Informatics.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with EPIC EMR is highly preferred.
• Masters Degree in Nursing, or Informatics, Preferred.
• Informatics Nursing Certification from ANCC Preferred.
