Reports to the Director, Medication Safety, Quality, and Information Technology. Under the supervision of the Clinical Informatics Pharmacy Coordinator works closely with clinical pharmacy and Brown University Health Information Services (IS) team for clinical elements of medication builds in EPIC, with intra-departmental oncology and IS teams for clinical elements of medication builds in Beacon, and with ambulatory pharmacy, retail pharmacy, and IS teams for clinical elements of medication builds in Willow Ambulatory. Responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of electronic health record (EHR) system builds for new medications and revisions to existing medications. Advises and provides input on the development of service request submission forms, testing plans, admixture records, order panels and order sets, alternative warnings, and other Pharmacy relevant information.
