About The Position

Able Innovations is seeking dynamic nurses to join our Clinical Implementation Team as a Clinical Implementation Specialist. This role offers an opportunity to leverage clinical experience in a new, innovative way within the MedTech industry. The Implementation Specialist will serve as the on-site expert, training hospital staff on how to use Able Innovations' cutting-edge technology to improve patient mobility, safety, and efficiency. This position involves being the boots-on-the-ground representative during critical product launches and implementation phases, acting as the face of Able Innovations in their territory. The role is ideal for individuals who thrive at the intersection of technology, education, and human connection, and it is based in Toronto, ON / Montreal, QC with travel to healthcare facilities in Canada and the USA. Individuals with current contractual work as nurses, porters, or relevant healthcare roles, interested in gaining management experience, are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Registered Nurse (RN), RPN/LPN, Nursing Aide or Porter.
  • Minimum 2+ years of clinical experience in a hospital setting (Med/Surg, ICU, or ER preferred).
  • Bilingual - with an intermediate-to-expert read/write/conversation level in French.
  • Ability to be comfortable with learning new hardware/software and troubleshooting basic issues.
  • Personality that is approachable, empathetic and persuasive.
  • Valid G or G2 driver's license and eligibility for cross-border travel (US).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as a preceptor, charge nurse, or clinical educator is a huge plus.
  • Must be comfortable speaking to groups and teaching peers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead hands-on training sessions for hospital staff (nurses, porters, techs) on the safe and effective use of Able Innovations equipment.
  • Provide "at-the-elbow" support during shift changes and peak hours to ensure staff feel confident using the new technology in real-time.
  • Bridge the gap between engineering and nursing by translating technical features into clinical benefits.
  • Observe usage on the floor, identify barriers to adoption, and gently encourage hesitant staff to try the new workflow.
  • Report site-specific feedback, bugs, or wins back to the Able Innovations headquarters to help improve the product.
