Open Rank Clinical Faculty - Gastroenterology
About The Position
The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the UNC School of Medicine is recruiting an open-rank General Gastroenterologist on the fixed-term track. The role focuses on diagnosing and managing gastrointestinal disorders and performing endoscopy. The division has subspecialty focuses that include inflammatory bowel disease, esophageal disease, motility disorders, and advanced endoscopy. Duties include outpatient gastroenterology care, endoscopic procedures, clinic visits, and inpatient consultations. Outpatient clinic time will take place in Chapel Hill and outreach clinics. The successful candidate will help train GI fellows, residents, and medical students. Rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Requirements
- Proficiency in general gastroenterology and endoscopy.
- At least three years of gastroenterology training.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.

- An interest in teaching, clinical education, and/or research.
Responsibilities
