Research involves engaging in clinical and translational research, developing research programs, identifying funding sources, and submitting grants. Educational responsibilities include acting as a role model, supervising trainees, and participating in teaching conferences. External service may involve participating in committees, collaborative research, and editing/reviewing scientific publications.
