About The Position
Sentara Primary Care & Therapy Center Oceanfront is hiring a Clinical Exercise Specialist. The Clinical Exercise Specialist administers therapy treatments under the direct supervision of a licensed leader. They provide quality exercise and health education for patients, assuring a safe, pleasant, and professional atmosphere. The role requires productivity and efficiency in daily operations, and the establishment and updating of exercise programs to address client/participant needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Health Science, Kinesiology, Athletic Training, Recreational Therapy, Physical Education, or Clinical Exercise Physiology.
- BLS within 60 Days
Responsibilities
- Administers therapy treatments under the direct supervision of licensed leader.
- Provides quality exercise and health education for patients, assuring a safe, pleasant, and professional atmosphere.
- Productive and efficient in daily operations.
- Establishes and updates the exercise program to address the Client/participant's needs.
