The Clinical Educator is responsible for developing, coordinating, and delivering clinical education and competency-based training for TRAA employees. This position supports the Clinical Department in maintaining a high standard of clinical practice, ensuring field personnel remain competent in required clinical skills, and promoting continuous professional development. The Clinical Educator serves as a clinical resource and educator for paramedics, AEMTs, EMTs, and other clinical staff. The position assists with new employee onboarding, continuing education, skills assessments, remediation, clinical simulations, and competency evaluations. Working under the direction of the Clinical Director, the Clinical Educator helps identify educational needs based on clinical performance, quality improvement findings, regulatory requirements, industry standards, and operational trends. The Clinical Educator is expected to serve as a positive clinical role model and promote TRAA’s culture of patient safety, professional development, accountability, and clinical excellence.
