About The Position

The Perioperative Clinical Educator Registered Nurse (RN) coordinates and implements nursing clinical education programs and clinical competence initiatives. Responsibilities include planning, organizing, and delivering education and training identified through needs assessments, quality improvement efforts, and the implementation of new products and technology. The role supports effective operations through teamwork, customer service and satisfaction, quality assurance, compliance with legal and financial regulations, feedback, and assistance in developing and implementing policies and procedures. The educator collaborates with other education team members and facility leadership on hospital-wide education initiatives as directed. The position is based at Hillcrest Medical Center, a 656-bed hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Current, unrestricted Oklahoma RN license.
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and before providing direct patient care.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Nice To Haves

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).
3–5 years of nursing education experience.

Responsibilities
