About The Position

The Clinical Education Consultant serves as a clinical education leader responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating learning, as well as the development of evidence-based practice that improves patient outcomes. This role partners with clinic leadership and interdisciplinary teams to assess learning needs, facilitate onboarding and orientation, develop and ongoing review of policies and procedures, validate clinical competencies, develop and maintain learning management content, and provide ongoing education for medical assistants, nurses, and other clinical staff. The Clinical Education Consultant promotes a culture of continuous learning across ambulatory settings. Through education, coaching, and performance support, the educator enhances staff knowledge, skills, and confidence while supporting quality improvement, patient safety, regulatory compliance, and organizational goals. This position plays a key role in workforce development, change management, and the successful implementation of clinical initiatives, technologies, and best practices that improve patient outcomes and the patient experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science – Nursing degree (BSN)
  • Three (3) years of relevant nursing experience
  • Previous experience as a nursing educator
  • Current CPR certification and maintenance of certification
  • Epic experience in outpatient setting

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in nursing education or equivalent
  • Experience in ambulatory care
