About The Position
Avenues Recovery Center is a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehab centers with 18 locations across seven states, known for its evidence-based clinical curriculum and individualized care. The company offers programs spanning detox, residential, PHP, IOP, and outpatient services. Avenues Recovery Center is currently hiring a Clinical Director for its new residential treatment facility opening in Norfolk, VA. This role involves providing daily clinical leadership and supervision, ensuring the execution of the Avenues clinical program roadmap, cultivating and maintaining an effective clinical treatment team, overseeing client engagement and morale, and ensuring timely client documentation.
Requirements
- 3 years' experience in chemical dependency or dual diagnosed clients
- Current licensure necessary to practice as clinical director in Virginia (LPC, LSATP, LCSW, LMFT)
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree (or higher) in related field
- 5 years' supervisory experience in hospital or residential setting
Responsibilities
- Provide daily clinical leadership and supervision to facility to ensure smooth daily function
- Ensure full execution of the Avenues clinical program roadmap
- Cultivate and maintain a skilled, effective clinical treatment team, providing consistent oversight, support, and professional development
- Oversee client engagement and morale, interacting with every client and fostering a warm, encouraging, recovery - oriented atmosphere
- Ensure impeccable and timely client documentation, collaborating with Utilization Review as necessary
