About The Position
Avenues Recovery Center is a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehab centers with 18 locations across seven states, known for its evidence-based clinical curriculum and highly individualized care. The company offers programs spanning detox, residential, PHP, IOP, and outpatient services. Avenues is currently hiring a Clinical Director for its residential treatment facility opening in Norfolk, VA, seeking a talented, passionate clinician to make a real difference in the recovery community.
Requirements
- 3 years' experience in chemical dependency or dual diagnosed clients
- Current licensure necessary to practice as clinical director in Virginia (LPC, LSATP, LCSW, LMFT)
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree (or higher) in related field
- 5 years' supervisory experience in hospital or residential setting
Responsibilities
- Provide daily clinical leadership and supervision to facility to ensure smooth daily function
- Ensure full execution of the Avenues clinical program roadmap
- Cultivate and maintain a skilled, effective clinical treatment team, providing consistent oversight, support, and professional development
- Oversee client engagement and morale, interacting with every client and fostering a warm, encouraging, recovery - oriented atmosphere
- Ensure impeccable and timely client documentation, collaborating with Utilization Review as necessary
