About The Position

As a Clinical Director at BHG, you'll lead clinical quality management initiatives across treatment centers within a geographic network. Ensure alignment with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements while supporting clinical teams.

Requirements

  • Licensure & Masters degree required.
  • Minimum five years' experience in clinical supervision or quality assurance.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Knowledge of substance use disorder treatment and billing/coding auditing.
  • Ability to manage workload and mentor staff effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Leads weekly (or bi-weekly) supervision-for-supervisors meetings to monitor clinical quality care and clinical service delivery in the designated region.
  • Oversees monthly chart auditing and quality scorecard system, with ongoing monitoring of clinical service delivery and clinical documentation improvement.
  • Provides and facilitates clinical training virtually, in-person, or by reviewing OnDemand LMS courses assigned to clinical job roles in the designated region.
  • Leads review of course assignments in the designated region to ensure alignment with state regulations, payor preferences, and additional stakeholder expectations.
  • Leads review of policies, procedures, and job aides to ensure alignment with state regulations, payor preferences, and additional stakeholder expectations.
  • Supports programs response to chart audit findings, including development and administration, action planning, training and follow up to ensure resolution of identified documentation and service delivery deficiencies.
  • Proactively identifies gaps and risks in clinical services and documentation; reports trends to leadership and supports implementation of needed corrective actions in a timely manner along with training when needed.
  • Identifies and makes recommendations for continuous quality improvement opportunities.
  • Understands the clinical service and documentation requirements for State, Federal, Joint Commission, and third-party payors in their assigned regions.
  • Supports the clinical, and quality improvement initiatives of the organization, including service expansion, with planning, organizing, tracking, and coordinating these initiatives to ensure the standardization of best practices for BHG’s clinical operations.
  • Works closely with the Regional Directors and Program Directors to assist in regional initiatives.
  • Provides support, training and education to center clinical teams to improve quality of care to patient services.
