McNeese State University invites qualified applicants to apply for the position of Clinical Assistant Professor to serve as the Clinical Director of the McNeese Autism Program (MAP) and Assistant Professor of Psychology (Applied Behavior Analysis) in the Department of Psychology and Counseling/College of Nursing and Health Professions. This is a full-time, 12-month, unclassified, non-tenure track position beginning in August (Fall) 2026. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the candidate will hold the rank of Assistant Professor (non-tenure track) in the ABA master’s program, with a 2-2 teaching load. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the next generation of scientist-practitioners in the field of ABA through student mentorship, supervision, high-quality instruction, and contributions to research and scholarship in the discipline. The MAP clinic is an integral part of the on-campus Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis graduate program accredited by the Association for Behavior Analysis International Accreditation Board (ABAI), housed within the Department of Psychology and Counseling. The clinic provides high-quality ABA services to the community while serving as a premier training site for graduate and undergraduate students.
