About The Position

Valley View is seeking a Registered Dietitian to expand the GI Department’s continuum of care. The position provides clinical nutrition services—including nutrition assessment, Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT), education, and counseling—to support patients with digestive conditions. The dietitian collaborates with providers to support patients with Celiac Disease, IBD, Hepatology, and other nutrition-sensitive GI conditions.

Requirements

Registered Dietitian credential required.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Excellent computer skills, customer service, and communication skills required.

Minimum of one year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy, including nutrition assessment, diet modification, nutrition education, and intervention for patients with digestive conditions.
Document care in the medical record according to guidelines.
Develop and revise nutrition care plans based on information from patients, medical records, family members, and health care team members.
Educate and counsel patients on diet and nutrition, therapeutic diet management, and chronic disease management.
Participate in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility-wide regulatory compliance and public relations.
