About The Position

Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking a Fully Remote Part-Time Clinical Dietitian to support Columbus Regional Healthcare in Whiteville, NC. This role will support a small community hospital with an average census of 60-70 patients, covering service lines including orthopedics, oncology, critical care, robotic surgery, and medical surgical units, as well as a growing outpatient program. The hospital was awarded a Gold award from the American Heart Association in 2025 for Stroke Care.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited institution
Registered Dietitian (RD) / Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) designation required
2 years or more clinical practice experience
Licensed Dietitian status in North Carolina or the ability to obtain licensure within 3 months
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Strong organizational and time management skills
Passion for helping patients achieve optimal health through proper nutrition

Nice To Haves

Oncology experience highly preferred
Experience calculating and monitoring EN and TPN preferred

Responsibilities

Assess patient's nutritional status and develop individualized nutrition plans based on their medical history, current health status, and specific needs
Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on proper nutrition, healthy eating habits, and lifestyle changes
Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement clinical protocols and best practices for nutrition care
Monitor patients' progress and make modifications to their nutrition plans as needed
Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of clinical nutrition
