About The Position
The Registered Dietitian works collaboratively with Therapy Services and other departments to provide individualized nutritional care to individuals at Oakwood and to patients seen in the Outpatient Clinic. Services are provided according to high professional practice standards and in compliance with federal and state regulations. The position is based at New Vista Oakwood in Somerset, Kentucky, and is advertised as Monday through Friday, with no holidays or weekends. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is currently being offered.
Requirements
- Registered dietitian credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration, the credentialing agency for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
- License from the Kentucky Board of Licensure and Certification for Dietitians and Nutritionists.
- Ability to meet drug-screening and background-check standards.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities is preferred.
